Register

Attach a hostname to an existing ECS resource.

Verify

Point DNS at the returned target and monitor verification.

Route

Serve the target resource from your own hostname.

Lifecycle

  1. Register a hostname and target resource.
  2. Add the returned CNAME target to DNS.
  3. Wait for verification and certificate provisioning.
  4. Poll the domain endpoint until active.
  5. Delete the registration when the hostname is no longer needed.
